Lovable Promo Code and Discounts: What Works (October 2026)

Looking for a Lovable promo code that works? There isn't a public one. I checked lovable.dev on 6 October 2026, and the pages ranking for this search are either Reddit threads or coupon sites listing codes Lovable never issued.
There are still real ways to pay less. Students and teachers get 50% off Pro. Signing up through an invite link gets you 10 bonus credits. UK LinkedIn Premium members can claim a year of Pro Lite. And the free plan gives you 5 credits a day to test it properly first.
I have built with Lovable myself, so the second half of this page is what the credits get you in practice.
Lovable Discounts That Work in October 2026
| Offer | What you get | Who qualifies |
|---|---|---|
| Student and teacher discount | 50% off Pro (100 credits a month), billed monthly, for up to 12 months | Anyone with an academic email, on a Free workspace, once per person |
| Invite link | 10 bonus credits on sign-up | Anyone new who signs up through an existing user's link |
| LinkedIn Premium | 1 year of Pro Lite plus 300 bonus credits | Premium members in the UK, US, Canada and Australia on a Free workspace |
| Annual billing | Pro drops from £22 to £19 a month | Anyone paying for a year up front |
| Free plan | 5 credits a day, up to 30 a month | Everyone |
| Back to School Sweden | Pro at no cost until 31 December 2026 | Students at Swedish universities only |
The student discount is the big one. Lovable's own student page prices it at $12.50 a month for a year of Pro. It only works on a workspace that is still on the Free plan, so claim it before you upgrade, not after.
What Lovable Costs in the UK
These are the prices Lovable's pricing page showed me from the UK on 6 October 2026.
| Plan | Monthly | Billed annually | Credits |
|---|---|---|---|
| Free | £0 | £0 | 5 a day, up to 30 a month |
| Pro | £22 a month | £19 a month | 100 a month, plus the daily 5 |
| Business | £44 a month | £37 a month | 100 a month, plus the daily 5 |
| Enterprise | Custom | Custom | Volume based |
Pro and Business both scale up in credit tiers, from 100 to 10,000 credits a month. More credits cost more: 200 credits on Pro is £37 a month on annual billing. If you run out mid-month, top-ups on Pro cost $15 for 50 credits.
Credits matter more than the plan name. Every message you send Lovable spends credits, and the free plan stops giving you daily credits after the sixth day of each month.
How to Make Your Credits Go Further
This is the bit nobody selling a "promo code" tells you. The cheapest Lovable is the one where you waste fewer prompts.
When I started, I had 5 prompts a day on the free plan. So before opening Lovable, I would get ChatGPT to help me write one long, detailed prompt describing the whole tool: what it does, every input, every output, how it should look. Then I would paste that in and try to build the whole thing in one go.
It usually got close. There would be a bug or two left, and fixing those used up the rest of my credits for the day. But one detailed prompt got me further than five vague ones ever would.
Three habits that save credits:
- Plan before you prompt. Write the full spec first. Vague prompts get vague apps, and every fix costs another credit.
- Fix bugs in batches. List every problem you can see in one message rather than sending them one at a time.
- Use the free daily credits first. They expire at the end of each day, so they are use-it-or-lose-it.
The models are a lot better now than when I started, so you will get further on the same credits than I did.
How I've Used Lovable
I first used Lovable around spring 2025, on the free plan. The two things I built that are still live are both running calculators, made for a running and HYROX coaching client and embedded on their site:
- The HYROX race pace calculator, which works out splits for singles, doubles and relays.
- A general race pace calculator for road races.
Both are Lovable apps sitting on a lovable.app address and embedded into a normal WordPress page. That is where I think Lovable shines. Small tools and calculators are quick to build and easy to drop into any website.
What I liked straight away was how easy it was. You type what you want and watch it appear, with no setup. At the time, the apps it made looked better than what I got from Bolt and Replit, with nicer styling and animation.
I never built and launched a full website on Lovable, mainly because of cost. Once you want a custom domain, need to edit the code yourself or need to take it elsewhere, you are on a paid plan, and the credits go quickly on a big build. I moved to Cursor, and now I build everything in Claude Code. There is more on that in my full Lovable review.
Is It Worth Paying For?
If you are building small tools, calculators or a first version of an app to show people, the free plan plus an invite link is a fair way to find out. If you are a student or teacher, the 50% discount makes Pro hard to argue with.
If you are planning a full website or a product you will keep working on for months, think about where you want to end up. Lovable syncs your code to GitHub, so you can leave, but the more you build the more credits you spend. That is the point where I switched to tools that charge for the subscription rather than per message.
How to Claim the Student Discount
- Sign up for a free Lovable account. Do not upgrade first.
- Go to lovable.dev/students.
- Verify with your university or school email address.
- Pick Pro with 100 credits a month, billed monthly.
- The 50% comes off for up to 12 months.
Annual billing and the bigger credit tiers are not included. Each person can use it once.
Frequently Asked Questions
Is there a Lovable promo code?
No. As of 6 October 2026 Lovable does not publish a public promo code. The discounts that work are the student and teacher discount, the invite-link credits, the LinkedIn Premium offer and annual billing.
Is Lovable free?
Yes. The free plan gives 5 build credits a day for the first six days of each month, up to 30 a month. You cannot use a custom domain, edit or download the code, or remove the Edit with Lovable badge without paying.
How much is Lovable a month in the UK?
Pro is £22 a month or £19 a month billed annually. Business is £44 a month or £37 billed annually. Both include 100 credits a month.
Does Lovable give free credits for referrals?
Yes. Sign up through an invite link and you get 10 bonus credits. The inviter gets 100 credits once you pay for your first plan.
Do Lovable credits roll over?
Monthly credits roll over for one month. Daily credits expire at the end of the day. Top-ups last 12 months.
Are the codes on coupon sites real?
I would not rely on them. Lovable does not run a public code scheme, so long lists of "verified" codes are either expired or never worked.
