What's in the template
One Notion page. Press Duplicate and it's in your own Notion.
The All Meetings database
The same columns I use: date, who was on the call, client, call type, decisions and action items. It comes with 3 example meetings so you can see what a filled-in one looks like.
A 10-minute setup page
Getting Granola, what to paste where after each call, and connecting Notion to Claude so it can read every meeting you've saved.
The questions I ask Claude
The one I use before every follow-up call, the one I use when I'm writing a proposal, and quick ones like "what did I promise to send them?"
How the setup works
Granola takes the notes on my calls. No bot joins the meeting, and I'm on the free plan. The catch is that the free plan only shows your last 30 days.
So every call goes into one Notion database that keeps the lot. Mine goes back to April. Then Claude reads that database and answers questions across months of meetings, like "what did this client say their budget was?"
Granola and Notion are free. I'm on Claude's paid plan for the Notion connector, so check what yours includes. I walk through the whole thing in the YouTube video.

Who made it
I'm Mike McDonnell. I run Glide Marketing, a marketing agency, and I haven't typed a meeting note since April. I write The Growth Toolkit, a free email every Sunday where I share one of the AI setups I use, explained simply.
