A Personal Update – Shows, Marathon Training, Networking, and SEO

EAG Games Expo

Hey everyone,

Mike here, coming to you with the latest update on what’s been keeping me busy lately. Buckle up because it’s been a whirlwind of excitement, from marketing to personal fitness challenges. First things first, let’s dive into the world of Glide Marketing. As many know, Glide is my web design and SEO agency and we’re all about helping small and medium-sized businesses thrive online.

Recently, I’ve been on the road, attending some of the biggest shows in the business world, and it’s been an absolute blast.

My sights are set on the London Excel shows happening throughout 2024. These events are a goldmine for networking and discovering new opportunities for Glide Marketing. Connecting with like-minded individuals and businesses has always been my priority, and these shows provide the perfect platform to do just that.
The most recent show I attended was the EAG Expo, where I crossed paths with some incredible folks from SAM Leisure. They’re not just your average pool table manufacturer but a games room supplier with a passion for quality and innovation. After engaging in conversations, we’ve teamed up to enhance their online presence through strategic SEO efforts. Collaborating with businesses that share our commitment to excellence is always fulfilling.
On the personal front, my love for health and fitness is taking centre stage as I gear up for my first-ever Marathon. The Brighton Marathon on April 7th is the ultimate challenge, and I’m putting in the hard yards to make it a memorable debut. Training for a marathon requires dedication, discipline, and a clean diet, and I’ve embraced every aspect.

Balancing work and fitness might seem like a juggling act, but the truth is that both pursuits complement each other. The discipline I apply to my training spills over into my professional life, enhancing my focus and productivity. It’s a holistic approach to success that I believe in wholeheartedly. I had a good conversation with a friend who is a web designer in Baltimore about this.
As I clock in the miles and push my limits, I’m reminded of the parallels between running a marathon and a business. Both require endurance, perseverance, and a clear vision of the finish line. The journey might be challenging, but the sense of accomplishment at the end makes it all worthwhile.

Oh, and before I sign off, I’m thrilled to share that Glide Marketing has recently accomplished a double-play in the web design arena. We’ve successfully built websites for a passionate cricket supporters group and a youth cricket coaching academy. These projects not only showcase our creative prowess but also highlight our commitment to catering to diverse client needs. Can’t wait to see these platforms elevate their online presence!

In the coming months, I will be attending more shows at London ExCel and continuing to grow my SEO knowledge, whilst pushing my boundaries in marathon training. Your support means the world to me, and I’m thrilled to have you along for the ride.
Stay tuned for more adventures, insights, and a few sore muscles. Until next time, keep chasing those goals and living life to the fullest!

Cheers,
Mike
